This specialized course is tailor-made for individuals who need specific attention as a result of various reasons: not having driven a vehicle for a number of years, reluctant or lacks confidence to get behind the wheel because of a previous serious crash or as result of reckless/negligent driving or driving whilst under the influence of intoxicating substances. It is also suitable for drivers with foreign licences. The course covers aspects such as: Challenges Facing Drivers in SA, The Main Contributory Factors of Crashes in SA, Impact of Driving under the Influence, The True Cost of A Serious Crash and Hazard Management training. The course covers theory and practical aspects in a supportive, small group setting and includes theory, class discussion and on-road evaluation.
