All our driving instructors are highly trained, TETA approved and have years of driver training experience. All theory courses are presented in a friendly environment with lots of interaction utilizing Power-point, scale models and where applicable, simulators. The practical courses are conducted on the road and on special tracks and skid pans. All practical courses conducted in clients’ vehicles so that the client gains a better understanding of the performance of his/her vehicle. Numbers are kept low to ensure maximum personal attention. (Maximum of 15 per session). All courses can be tailor-made and mixed and matched (combined) to suit the specific requirements of the client’s needs. Special discounts or value added packages apply when combining two or more courses.

The Advanced Defensive Driving Skills Course is one of the most comprehensive and intensive courses currently available in the country. Only the best national and international driver training techniques have been incorporated to produce courses that bear effective results. Most courses are available in credit and non-credit (NQF) bearing status. There is an additional cost loading for credit bearing courses. Courses are flexible and can be adapted for motorcycle, light commercial, minibus taxi, buses and heavy commercial vehicles. Fleetmax Drive4Life also provides driver screening services that include conducting health tests, SAPS clearance, aptitude and psychometric services as well as in-vehicle assessments for compliance with road rules and regulations and driving safely and economically and with mechanical sympathy. Fleetmax can combine these life-saving skills development courses into highly productive and motivating team building sessions.

On completion of any course learners receive a full written report with recommendations for future practise, where applicable. Certificates of attendance and/or competence are issued only when the minimum pass requirements are met. Lower premiums can be negotiated with certain insurance companies on completion of the Advanced Defensive Driving Skills Course. Clients have the opportunity to provide, honest and comprehensive feedback anonymously in order to continuously improve our courses.
